Haral Logistics Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly organised Construction Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site operations, supervising contractors and subcontractors, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from inception through to completion.
  • Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Supervise site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project milestones and deadlines are achieved.
  • Prepare and monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, building regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality standards and address any technical or operational issues.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, local authorities, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services to support project delivery.
  • Identify project risks and implement practical solutions to minimise delays and additional costs.
  • Prepare project reports, maintain accurate site records, and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
  • Ensure construction works are completed to the required quality standards and handed over successfully upon completion.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Site Manager, or in a similar construction management role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple construction activities simultaneously.
  • Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams.
  • Strong budgeting, planning, and resource management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction project management software.
  • A qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Studies, or a related discipline is desirable.
  • CSCS, SMSTS, or other relevant construction health and safety certifications are desirable.
