Role Overview
Urban Food Group LTD is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead client acquisition, partnership development, and commercial expansion activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with clients, and supporting the company’s strategic growth plans.
This position requires a commercially minded professional capable of operating independently, engaging with senior stakeholders, and converting opportunities into sustainable business agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the food, hospitality, and related sectors
Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential areas for expansion
Prepare and deliver professional proposals, presentations, and commercial plans
Negotiate service agreements and partnership terms
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
Monitor sales performance and maintain accurate records of business development activities
Represent the company at meetings, networking events, and industry engagements
Requirements
Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial management
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to build and sustain professional relationships at multiple levels
Strategic thinking with a results-driven approach
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
Proficiency in standard business software and reporting tools
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings
Desirable
