Overview

Prepare pre-construction information including the checking of site layouts and their
impact on site users. The inspection of construction procedures, details and specifications
for compliance with health and safety requirements.
 Ensure that the health and safety file for each project is prepared, checked and verified
and passed to the building user at handover.
 Carry out traditional “Clerk of Works” duties providing site safety and quality inspection
services on projects as required.
 Assist the Team Manager in the supervision of subordinate staff and their workload to
facilitate the construction process, maintain quality standards and achieve best value for
the clients.
 Ensure efficient and effective delivery of service and information to produce, as far as
practicable, a safe construction site environment.
