Due to increasing demand for technical services, we are seeking a skilled Telecoms Installation and Maintenance Engineer to join our team.
Role Overview
The Telecoms Installation and Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications and communication systems. The successful candidate will ensure that all systems operate efficiently and meet required performance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Install and configure telecommunications equipment and communication systems
Carry out fault diagnostics and technical troubleshooting
Perform maintenance and repair of wired and wireless communication systems
Install cabling and associated infrastructure in line with industry standards
Test, commission, and maintain telecom systems
Maintain accurate service and installation records
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Provide technical guidance and support to customers when required
Essential Requirements
Proven experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance
Strong knowledge of communication systems and network infrastructure
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults effectively
Understanding of cabling standards and installation procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and organisational skills
Desirable
Relevant technical qualifications in telecommunications or engineering
Experience working with communication equipment repair
Knowledge of health and safety compliance within installation environments
