IT TECHNICIAN

Overview

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled IT Technician to maintain and support our IT infrastructure, including computer systems, networks, servers, and cloud-based services. The successful candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, ensure systems operate securely and efficiently, and provide reliable IT support to staff.

Duties:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, servers, and network equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Monitor and maintain servers, cloud services, and data storage systems.
• Perform system updates, security patching, backups, and recovery procedures.
• Set up user accounts, devices, printers, and network access.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Maintain IT documentation, system records, and asset inventories.
• Implement cybersecurity measures, including antivirus, firewalls, and access controls.
• Liaise with third-party IT vendors for technical support and system upgrades.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, and server administration.
• Experience with cloud services, system troubleshooting, and IT security.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant IT qualification or certification (e.g. CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft) is desirable.
