Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and reliable IT Technician to manage and support our company’s IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining computer systems and networks, and ensuring that our technology systems operate efficiently. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective technical support to staff.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-line IT support to staff, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
Monitor system performance and ensure network security and reliability.
Assist in setting up user accounts, email systems, and access permissions.
Maintain and update IT systems, including operating systems and security software.
Ensure regular data backups and support data security procedures.
Troubleshoot system errors and technical faults in a timely manner.
Maintain documentation of IT processes, support requests, and system updates.
Support the implementation of new technologies and IT improvements within the company.
Qualifications and Skills
Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Previous experience as an IT Technician or in a similar IT support role.
Knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and basic networking.
Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and IT security practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
