Job Summary
MAN Breakdown Recovery LTD is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to inspect, service, maintain, and repair a wide range of vehicles. The successful candidate will diagnose faults, carry out mechanical repairs, and ensure all vehicles are safe, reliable, and roadworthy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Inspect vehicles and identify repair requirements.
  • Repair or replace faulty components including brakes, suspension, engines, and transmissions.
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tyre replacements, and fluid checks.
  • Maintain accurate service and repair records.
  • Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Use workshop tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Vehicle Mechanic.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and repair techniques.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
  • Relevant automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) are advantageous.
