Assisting clients with personal care such as bathing, showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Helping with mobility and transfers, including using hoists or other aids
Supporting daily living activities such as eating, drinking, and basic exercise
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding, following dietary requirements
Performing household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and tidying living areas
Providing companionship and emotional support, encouraging social interaction
Assisting clients to attend appointments, outings, and community activities
Monitoring clients’ wellbeing and behaviour and reporting changes to supervisors or health professionals
Following care plans and organisational policies
Maintaining basic records and documentation of care provided
Observing work health and safety and infection control procedures
