Overview
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Carpenter/Joiner to join a team supporting key infrastructure works. The role involves the repair and installation of precision timber components.
Key Responsibilities:
Install timber items on site when required
Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Work from technical or construction issued drawings and templates
Nationwide installations
Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and assembling structures.
Execute joinery techniques to create strong connections between different components.
Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square by using appropriate measuring tools.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of joinery techniques and structural principles.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with carpentry.
Familiarity with masonry
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
Skilled in reading engineering drawings and producing timber assemblies
Comfortable using machinery and mechanical handling tools
Minimum 4 years experience is required for this role.
