The Role:
As a Smash Burger Chef, your station is your domain. You’ll be responsible for smashing patties to perfection, loading builds exactly to spec, and maintaining lightning-fast ticket times without compromising quality. From a sizzling grill to the final wrap, every burger needs to be hot, fresh, and flawless.
Key Responsibilities:
Smash, grill, and assemble burgers to exact spec every time.
Maintain a clean and organised station during prep and service.
Keep calm and quick under pressure – especially during peak hours.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards.
Stay prepped and ready: manage daily mise en place efficiently.
Support the wider team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Take pride in your work and help uphold a positive kitchen culture.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous kitchen experience (burger or grill station preferred).
Fast, consistent, and confident on the grill – you know your way around high heat.
Clear communicator and team player.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures.
Able to take feedback and constantly improve.
Passionate about delivering high-quality food at speed.
