Overview

As Kitchen Manager, you’ll be responsible for running back-of-house operations with precision. That means managing a tight team, hitting your food cost and labour targets, and ensuring every burger that hits the pass is consistent, clean, and cooked to perfection.

You’ll work side-by-side with your crew, coach new starters, and keep service moving with zero shortcuts. This role is ideal for someone who’s hungry to grow with a brand and isn’t afraid to get stuck in.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead kitchen operations and ensure flawless execution of smash burgers to brand spec.
Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Train, develop, and manage kitchen staff to deliver fast, consistent service.
Manage prep, par levels, and stock rotation to avoid waste and maximise output.
Track and control food costs, wastage, and labour spend.
Ensure kitchen is clean, organised, and inspection-ready at all times.
Work closely with the General Manager and front-of-house to ensure smooth service.
Handle shift management, opening/closing duties, and daily kitchen reporting.

What We’re Looking For:
Proven kitchen management or senior chef experience in a high-paced environment.

Strong grill station skills – ideally with smash burger experience.
Clear communicator who can lead by example and get the best out of others.
Confident managing stock, food safety standards, and team rotas.
