Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Business Support Officer to provide administrative, operational, and coordination support across our retail and forecourt operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day business functions, supporting management, and maintaining efficient internal processes.

Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Office Support

Manage daily administrative tasks, records, and documentation
Maintain accurate business files, invoices, and operational reports
Handle correspondence, emails, and internal communications
Operational Support

Assist management in coordinating retail and forecourt operations
Support stock management, supplier coordination, and order tracking
Monitor operational workflows and flag inefficiencies
Financial & Reporting Support

Assist with basic financial administration, including invoice tracking and expense records
Support preparation of reports for management review
Coordinate with external accountants or advisors when required
Compliance & Procedures

Support adherence to health & safety, retail, and forecourt regulations
Maintain compliance documentation and renewal records
Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements
People & Communication Support

Act as a point of contact between staff, suppliers, and management
Support scheduling, staff coordination, and internal communication
Ensure professional handling of customer or supplier queries when required

Skills & Experience Required
Previous experience in an administrative, business support, or office-based role
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of retail, convenience store, or forecourt operations (preferred)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar systems
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
