Overview

Perform basic fault finding in phone and diagnostic system.
▪ Eliminate blacklisting, SIM card or network problems to ensure fault lies with the
handset, or accessories
▪ Perform functionality checks to eliminate user error
▪ Ascertain the warranty status of a handset to eliminate damaged equipment
▪ Perform functional test of handset using RF test equipment and PC to ascertain
the nature of the defect/s (where applicable)
▪ Perform software related/cosmetic repair to handsets to remedy diagnosed fault
▪ Repair to phone as per manufacturers guidelines
▪ Achieve agreed targets as specified to meet the requirements of the business
▪ Maintain your equipment including anti-static checks, regular calibration and the
installation of software upgrades
▪ Use own initiative to improve performance and quality of line
