Overview
Prepare pre-construction information including the checking of site layouts and their
impact on site users. The inspection of construction procedures, details and specifications
for compliance with health and safety requirements.
Ensure that the health and safety file for each project is prepared, checked and verified
and passed to the building user at handover.
Carry out traditional “Clerk of Works” duties providing site safety and quality inspection
services on projects as required.
Assist the Team Manager in the supervision of subordinate staff and their workload to
facilitate the construction process, maintain quality standards and achieve best value for
the clients.
Ensure efficient and effective delivery of service and information to produce, as far as
practicable, a safe construction site environment.
