Overview
Role Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of carpentry and joinery tasks, including first and second fix work
Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and building plans
Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, staircases, partitions, skirting boards, cabinets, and furniture
Work with various materials including hardwood, softwood, MDF, and plywood
Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
Collaborate with site managers, contractors, and other trades as required
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
Requirements:
Proven experience as a carpenter or joiner in a relevant setting
Strong knowledge of building materials, tools, and techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
