Valley Nest Global Resources Ltd is a UK-based grocery wholesale business specialising in the supply of authentic African and Afro-Caribbean food products to retailers and wholesale customers across the United Kingdom. As the company continues to grow and expand its product range and distribution network, we are seeking a Business Support Officer to assist with the coordination of operational, administrative, and supply chain activities.

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business by supporting directors with operational management, supplier coordination, and order processing.

Key Responsibilities
Support the daily administrative and operational activities of the business.
Coordinate with international suppliers regarding product orders, shipment schedules, and delivery timelines.
Assist in managing inventory and monitoring stock levels to ensure product availability.
Process wholesale and retail orders, including maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Liaise with storage and logistics providers to support the safe handling and dispatch of goods.
Maintain organised business records and assist with compliance documentation when required.
Provide general administrative support to directors and assist with operational planning.
Monitor customer enquiries and support communication with clients and partners.
Skills and Experience
Previous experience in business administration, operations support, or office coordination.
Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise responsibilities effectively.
Good communication and coordination skills when working with suppliers, logistics providers, and customers.
Basic understanding of inventory management or supply chain processes is advantageous.
Proficiency in standard office software and record management.
